According to this video, HemoBioTech has developed an artificial blood that mimics human hemoglobin. Though the bloodstream can only have a maximum of 25% of this so-called “hemotech” blood before it becomes toxic, this does give ER surgeons a fighting chance to save lives without draining the local blood bank. In addition, the hemotech blood also has a longer shelf life and is not blood type-specific.
