As we travel around the country, we meet a lot of patients with rare diseases who are counting on biotech to develop life saving cures and treatments. It provides tremendous hope for those who are battling these diseases to know the success that biotech has had in improving so many patients’ lives.

At the 2009 Bio International Convention, we spoke with Ashley Kurpiel, who is suffering from Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) about why she believes biotech innovation is so critical for patients like her.
