Biotechnology holds great promise for humanity. But given the changing political landscape, the struggling economy, and misconceptions about the science of biotech, we have some challenges ahead. IAmBiotech is dedicated to helping the biotech community address those challenges and support the industry’s work to Heal, Fuel and Feed the world.
The strategy of the IAmBiotech movement is simple: We showcase the passion of the researchers, patients, farmers, and other innovators who are finding solutions through biotechnology to very real problems. And we give the biotech community the tools they need to engage with the public, the press and policy-makers and share their work and their vision for a better world through biotechnology.
IAmBiotech.org is the online hub for this movement. This website isn’t about stock tips or rumors about mergers & acquisitions. It’s a place where you can learn about the challenges and opportunities facing the community, discuss the latest developments and industry news, and find tools and tips to educate the public about biotech and share your work with the world.
Please sign up today by entering your information in the form on the right. You’ll be kept up to date on the movement and the latest features on IAmBiotech.org through periodic emails and alerts.
We also have a “sister site” – WhatCanBiotechDoForYou.com – which is geared toward people who are unfamiliar with biotechnology or just want to learn more about the science and its everyday applications. On the site, visitors can submit questions about what biotech can do for them, and we engage the biotech community in finding the answers. If you want to help us educate the public and answer these questions, just go to WhatCanBiotechDoForYou.com or click on the button on the sidebar.
IAmBiotech.org and WhatCanBiotechDoForYou.com are part of a project by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO).
